Relaxation on Sikkim tourism

Anyo Route, Travel News, 17/08/2021: This time the Sikkim government gave good news for those who are going to visit Sikkim.  Sikkim lifted a lot of restrictions to protect Covid 19.

When traveling to Sikkim, those who have taken a single dose of the antidote will have to show a Covid Negative Certificate.  That certificate should be issued within 72 hours before entering Sikkim.  Those who have taken both doses will have to show the certificate of taking two doses.  But if any tourist is below 18 years of age, he has to bring with him a negative certificate of Covid 19 Test 72 hours before reaching Sikkim.

Several relaxations have been announced on hotels in Sikkim.  Shops and shopping hubs in Sikkim have been open till 5 pm till now.  Now they will remain open til 8 p.m.  Besides, cars and taxis in Sikkim have to abide by the odd-even number of rules.  However, private cars and two-wheelers for tourists are not required to comply with the ban.

In a couple of months, the tourist season in Sikkim will start.  The demand of tourists is gradually increasing in Sikkim.  So far 28,425 people have been infected with the Covid 19 virus in Sikkim.  In the last 24 hours, 150 new cases of Covid 19 virus have been reported.  Of these, a total of 81 people were affected in South Sikkim alone, 36 in West Sikkim and a total of 33 in East Sikkim.  The total number of active Covid 19 patients in Sikkim at the moment is 2,345, so far a total of 360 people in Sikkim have been reported to have died of Covid 19.

Tourists are to show Corona negative certificate for travelling in H.P.

Anyo Route, Travel News, 15/08/2021: Despite keeping their borders closed to tourists for a long time, tourism in Himachal Pradesh has reopened subject to conditions in Corona.

Himachal Pradesh, like other states in the country, has been hit hard by the corona virus.  Himachal Pradesh is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in the country.  Therefore, just as there is a huge demand for Himachal tourism among tourists every year, there is also a pressure on the government of Himachal Pradesh from those who work or do business in the tourism sector.

This year too, the Himachal Pradesh government has felt that pressure.  Therefore, Himachal tourism has opened up observing little lesser corona infection in the country.  But the corona delta strain and the third wave have worried the government.  So the Himachal Pradesh government has recently imposed some restrictions on tourists.

 The official notification said that if you travel to Himachal Pradesh, you will need a negative certificate of Corona Test and that certificate will not work if it is more than 72 hours old.  However, in the case of Rapid Antigen test, the certificate must be 24 hours old.

Due to Corona, tourism was closed in different states of the country.  The country's overall tourism business has been severely damaged by the spread of virus infection.  Tourism traders have also been affected in Himachal Pradesh.  So the Himachal government does not want to stop tourists from traveling.

However, at the request of the central government, the Himachal government is going to give relaxation to those who have already taken the antidote completely.  And just a day before the new notification is issued, the Himachal Pradesh government wants to take all necessary precautionary measures for those who have visited Himachal Pradesh.
